It does prick since your body wasnt made for having an object shoved thru your skin especially on your stomach, I would get it if i were you, ive had it on for about 4 years and dont regret it at all! its worth it. the only thing is, make sure when you get it done you stay sitting down after.. I stood right up and after a few minutes almost passed out! its the weirdest thing but its common
